WHIPPERSNAPPER GAMES PRIVACY POLICY

1. Our Approach to Privacy

Whippersnapper is designed for simple, worry-free play. No account, login, email address, password, or player name is required to play. Currently, player names, scores, progress, achievements, and preferences are stored on the player’s device. Whippersnapper Games does not currently receive gameplay statistics or game-popularity counts.

We do not display third-party advertising, sell personal information, use information for targeted advertising, or track activity across other companies’ apps or websites.

2. Optional Player Name

You may choose to enter a Player Name in your Profile, but it is optional. The name is used only within your own game experience, stays on your device, and is not shown to other players. You can change or remove it at any time.

We do not currently offer public player profiles, messaging, or leaderboards. If leaderboards are introduced in the future, participation will be optional and require the player’s affirmative consent (opt-in). Before introducing this feature, we will explain what information would be displayed or shared and update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.

3. Gameplay Information

Game scores, completion times, progress, achievements, and preferences are currently stored on your device and are not sent to Whippersnapper Games. We do not currently collect or receive information about which games you play or how often you play them.

We do not currently operate a gameplay analytics database or collect game-popularity totals.

4. Information Used Only on Your Device

The app stores your optional Player Name, game settings, preferences, scores, progress, and achievements locally on your phone or tablet. It may read your device’s date and time to display the day or date.

Information used only on your device and not transmitted to Whippersnapper is not collected by us. Local data may be lost if you remove the app or reset your device, depending on the device’s backup behavior.

5. Technical and Diagnostic Information

Whippersnapper does not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting software and does not operate a server to collect gameplay data or statistics. Apple and other applicable platform providers may independently collect, process, or make available technical and diagnostic information as part of app distribution, purchases, testing, and operating-system services. Whippersnapper does not operate its own gameplay diagnostic reporting service.

Content Updates and Delivery. Whippersnapper uses a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to deliver updated game content, such as text, word lists, and images. When your device downloads this content, the CDN may process technical connection information, including your IP address, to deliver and secure those downloads. We do not send your Player Name, game scores, progress, or preferences with these content requests.

If our technical practices change, we will update this policy as appropriate.

6. Advertising and Tracking

Whippersnapper does not display third-party advertisements or use advertising networks to monitor activity. We do not track your activity across other companies’ apps or websites, collect information about unrelated activities on your device, or share personal information with advertising networks for targeted advertising.

Whippersnapper may acknowledge sponsors within the app without providing third-party ad links or tracking.

7. Information We Do Not Access

Whippersnapper does not intend to access your contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, or precise location.

8. How We Use Information

We do not currently collect gameplay statistics or game-popularity totals. Information you voluntarily send when contacting support may be used to respond to your request. Purchase-related information may be handled through the applicable app store. We may also handle information as required by law.

We do not use personal information for targeted advertising.

9. Sharing of Information and Service Providers

We do not sell personal information. Apple and other applicable app-store providers may process information independently to distribute the app and process purchases. Our Content Delivery Network (CDN) provider processes technical connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure updated game content. We do not currently use a cloud database, analytics provider, or hosting service to collect gameplay data. Our website and support email may be operated by service providers separate from the app.

We do not intentionally send private Player Names or personal gameplay histories to outside service providers.

10. Purchases and Payment Information

Whippersnapper may be offered through a one-time purchase, a subscription, or other purchase options. Available pricing and payment terms will be clearly presented before purchase. Payments are processed by Apple or another applicable app-store provider. Whippersnapper does not directly receive or store full payment-card details for purchases processed through the app store. The store may share limited purchase status or transaction information necessary to provide access and manage purchases.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

Player Names, scores, preferences, and progress are stored on your device. You may remove a Player Name using available Profile controls. Deleting the app may remove locally stored gameplay data, depending on your device and its backup settings. There is no Whippersnapper account to delete.

We do not currently retain game-popularity counts or personal gameplay histories on Whippersnapper servers. Support correspondence and purchase-related records, if received, may be retained as reasonably necessary for their purposes or applicable legal requirements. Technical connection records held by the CDN provider may be retained according to that provider’s practices and applicable requirements.

12. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information we handle, including support communications and any purchase-related information we receive. Personal gameplay information is currently stored on the player’s device. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

13. Children's Privacy

Whippersnapper is designed primarily for older adults and is not marketed or directed to children under the age of 13. However, we recognize that families may choose to share our games with children, and we strive to provide a safe, enjoyable gaming experience for players of all ages. Parents and guardians may choose to purchase Whippersnapper for their children and should supervise their use as appropriate.

No account, email address, or Player Name is required to play. Optional Player Names, game scores, progress, and preferences are stored locally on the player’s device and are not transmitted to Whippersnapper Games. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through gameplay. Our content delivery network (CDN) may process technical connection information, including IP addresses, when updated content is downloaded.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices or legal requirements change. We will revise the Last Updated date and provide additional notice when appropriate or required.
