Who we are
Whippersnapper is a coming-soon games platform designed for older adults, families, and casual players. This privacy policy covers the playwhippersnapper.com website.
What we collect
Email address (optional)
If you sign up for our early-access waitlist, we collect your email address. We use it solely to notify you when Whippersnapper launches. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Server logs
Our hosting provider may log standard server access information (IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp) for security and reliability purposes. We do not aggregate or analyze these logs for marketing. Logs are retained for no more than 30 days.
What we do NOT collect
- We do not use advertising trackers.
- We do not use third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.).
- We do not use cookies beyond what is strictly necessary.
- We do not fingerprint your browser or device.
- We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.
Email and unsubscribing
If you join our waitlist, your email is stored securely with Resend, our email service provider. We use it only to notify you about Whippersnapper - early access, launch news, and occasional updates. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also request removal at any time by emailing us directly.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@playwhippersnapper.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Children's privacy
Whippersnapper is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will not retroactively reduce your privacy rights without notice.
